Anaesthetists

Dr John Dick B Sc MB ChB FRCA

John qualified from St Andrew’s and Manchester Universities in 1995. Appointed Consultant Anaesthetist at UCH in 2006 and has a special interest in Ultrasound-guided nerve blocks which he teaches Internationally.

Dr Alan McGlennan BSc, MB BS, FRCA

Alan McGlennan qualified from UCL Medical School in 1997. He trained in Anaesthesia in the Central London School of Anaesthesia and was appointed Consultant at the Royal Free in 2007. Dr McGlennan has an interest in the use of ultrasound in regional anaesthesia. He is now the Training Program Director for Central London School of Anaesthesia.

Imaging Consultants

Imaging of shoulder and elbow problems is performed in consultation with musculoskeletal radiologists in a bright and spacious, purpose built unit, situated on the hospital’s ground floor.

A team of six specialist musculoskeletal (MSK) radiologists provide cover every working day.

Physiotherapists

Ms Natasha Price  MCSP – Physiotherapy Unit Manager

Natasha Price qualified from the Middlesex Hospital School of Physiotherapy in 1990 and worked extensively in the NHS, holding appointments as Orthopaedic Practitioner at the Royal Free and St Mary’s Hospitals in London. She currently runs the physiotherapy service at the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth.

Sports Physician

Dr Noel Pollock BCh (Hons) MSc Sports Med FFSEM CESR (Sport & Exercise Medicine)

Dr Noel Pollock graduated with Honours in Medicine from Queen’s University Belfast and completed an MSc with Distinction in Sport & Exercise Medicine (SEM) at Bath University. He works as a Sports Medicine Doctor for UK Athletics, providing medical services to the Great Britain Track and Field team, at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth and Lee Valley Athletics Centre.
